GYBE® Emergency Medical Tent

Years of production and customer experience with the rapid deployment tent have enabled the development of the inflatable medical tent, a deployment tent that primarily distinguishes itself from the rapid deployment tent through its practical design, while retaining its fundamental attributes. The tent is made of flame-retardant materials, the synthetic fibers of which are certified according to fire protection class 1 (B1), and it features water-repellent properties (ISO 4920, grade 5).

The emergency version of the medical and personnel tent is automatically equipped with two inlet valves. One is for inflation with electric pumps, and the other has a quick-connect fitting for inflation with compressors or compressed air cylinders. The emergency set is distinguished by the fact that the tent is printed with predefined markings on the front, back, and side walls, in the appropriate design for the respective emergency service or fire department, depending on the customer.

The Individual Set differs from the Emergency Set in that the design is completely customizable. In addition to freely choosing the material colors (from a predefined color range) for the individual tent components (roof, support structure, top panel, front, back, and side walls), the front, back, and side wall variations can also be individually selected. Printing crests, additional lettering, or other logos on the roof and side panels is also possible.

Medical tent with a streamlined tent shape for even more possible uses

The pneumatic GYBE® medical and crew tent, with a footprint of approximately 14 m², is ideal for providing first aid services or for use as a traditional crew tent. Its compact dimensions and light weight make it easy to transport and quick to set up. Thanks to its streamlined design, it offers ample interior space and can be expanded as needed by connecting additional tents.

Extensions

The tent's modular design allows for rapid adaptation to the conditions of the next deployment, as well as to changing requirements over the long term. The GYBE® medical tent offers a range of expansion options, from groundsheets and work lights to additional ballast, ensuring optimal preparation for any operational scenario. Furthermore, the tent roof, as well as the front, rear, and side walls, can be removed and replaced as needed.

Tent connection

GYBE® has designed a medical and personnel tent for entirely new applications. Despite their very different designs, the straight-sided tent and the dome-shaped rapid deployment tents from GYBE® can be combined using connecting components. Both the 4x4 meter and 5x5 meter versions of the rapid deployment tent can be connected to the medical tent. Medical tents can also be extended with additional tents, either laterally or from the front.

Structure of the supporting structure

The inflatable support structure of the first aid tent consists of a robust outer skin made of protective Dacron-polyester and an airtight inner tube made of a stretchable PU film. Tried and tested thousands of times on kiteboards on the water, the design has also proven itself for over 10 years through its use in GYBE® rapid deployment tents.

The One-Pump System

The medical and personnel tent consists of seven air chambers inside. For ease of use, the air chambers are connected via bypass hoses, so the inner chambers do not need to be filled individually, but rather fill automatically one after the other. Inflation is therefore carried out via a single inlet valve and can be performed by just one person, even in hectic operational scenarios, without much thought.

The inflatable medical and personnel tent can be inflated using either electric pumps or compressed air, allowing for setup in as little as 4 minutes. Its straight tent walls quickly create valuable space for treatment couches, beds, equipment, or other uses.

Scope of delivery

The GYBE® medical and personnel tent comes complete with the tent itself in a transport bag, two side walls, two front/back walls, two top panels, and a heating vent in one of the side walls. Four standard sandbags and four additional top sandbags are also included for ballasting, along with guy ropes and a small repair kit.

Print in its most perfect form - more brilliant than reality

To ensure stability, the rapid deployment tent consists of three separate air chambers. To eliminate the need to inflate these chambers sequentially, the GYBE® One-Pump System was developed. This system allows the tent to be set up within 4 minutes by supplying air through a central valve, which then distributes it evenly across the three chambers.
